MLS football giants Seattle Sounders have agreed contract extensions for three of their first-team players.Seattle Sounders made the announcement on the new contracts to their players at the start of this month. The three players handed contract extensions are Peruvian attacker Raul Ruidiaz, defender Xavier Arreaga and midfielder Joao Paulo.

Peru national team star Ruidiazis the go-to man at Seattle Sounders in terms of goals. He has won the Golden Boot winner at the club four times including the 2021 season. Also, Ruidiaz has been named in two successive MLS Best XI selections. The Peruvian international has signed a contract that runs through to the end of the 2024 MLS season.
